Program Error

I am using Windows 2000 Professional service pack 2 with R&R for windows, SQL Edition Ver. 8.1 Build 8.1.025____I have created a report that takes a while to run due to a big database I am using. When the report is running/sorting it has stoped working close to getting the results, I have seen the results only once. The Error I get is:____rsw.exe has generated errors and will be closed by Windows. You will need to restart the program. An error log is being created.____Dr Watson error log (drwtsn32.log) shows application exception # C0000005 (access violation)____does anyone have any idea of what could be wrong? will this be a windows or an R&R application problem?____I would really appreciate the help...__Thanks

How big is big and what ODBC driver are you using?__What happens if you use Database Limit Results to set a limit on how many records to read?____Kathleen__R&R Support

I hope this will give a little more information in regards to my current problem:____I have a total of 3 joins to the master table. I am using the SQL Server driver on ODBC. the sorting is taking a little over 30 minutes before I get the error message, it goes thru 2425754 Records Read and 40701 Records Selected. My PC is running at 900+Mhz with 1Gig of Memory connecting to an Win2000 SQL Server Via Ethernet LAN system where our Database resides. I tried the other suggestion, which is good in regards to modifing the report with limited data, but still not the full product. Does this help any?__Thanks
