ParameterRR Woke up when unwanted

A new install reported a problem with something (we thought) was bizarre and appeared nowhere in our programming... after a lot of time looking at code, we setup to call in and view the issue.____As it turns out, the client had "?something?" in the field we were trying to print. She was getting "something?" as a prompt in a parametRR box. It would have been humorous if it didn^t take so long to figure it out!____The question is if there is any way to disable or control this feature as we never use it. (which is why we never thought to consider it.) The data is in the parameter file, so I guess we^re asking for it.____Thanks.____Steve

Where was the "?something?" contained? Was it a character field in the report or something that was set in a control table?____Kathleen__R&R Support
