Calculated Field Expression on XP

Post by RigMike » Wed May 28, 2003 4:49 pm

I have upgraded my OS to Windows XP. Now when I am creating a CalcExpression the expression does not "wrap" and I can not see what I am typing or have typed. I have had to create the expression in notepad and then paste it into the New Calculation Expression Window. Does anyone have a solution to prevent this from happening?

You did not state what version of R&R you are using. I am using Version 8.1 on Windows XP and am having the same problem. Kathleen said that if you use the Ctrl+Enter key that it will create a new line. When I do that it only creates a bold double line,|| Version 10 works just fine.____

I am using both v8.1 & v10, but I was having the problem with 8.1. I seemed to have fixed the problem. I changed the "Compatibility Mode" under Properties (right click on RRW.exe) back to the default (I had originally changed it to be compatible with Win98). After this change, my expressions are wrapping again.____You might try this. Thanks for your response.
