ParameteRR not rerunning result set

I have created two ParameteRR field to ask for beginning and ending dates, and have put these fields in a filter to print the data relating to these dates. When I preview the report for the first time, the parameter works and the data comes out for those fields. When I change the dates and rerun it, the data does not change, and remains the same until I close my report and reopen it. I am pretty sure that my filters are not being rechecked since I know that the dates are changing (I have put the field on the report and it always matches what I put in), and if I do go and manually put something in the filter, it does change. Is there a way to update my result set each time since it is not automatically done? Is there another way to fix this problem? I have R&R Version 9, and no, I do not want to upgrade to 10.

The last build that was done for Version 9 is 9.0.009 which can be downloaded from our web site. If you are already using that release, then you limited by its functionality if upgrade is not a feasible option. ____Kathleen__R&R Support

It has nothing do with lack of functionality. The problem is that although the program is supposed to be able to take a ParameteRR field and change data, it doesn^t. It isn^t rerunning my data every time, so although my ParameteRR field does change, my data is always the same unless I close down my report and reopen it each time (which is a ridiculous thing to ask a user to do).____I was saying I don^t want to upgrade because I don^t believe that you have fixed this problem in the newer version, and I shouldn^t have to upgrade when the program is supposed to do this. Please just answer my question, or help me figure out some other way to make it work.

I have just again verified that this works in Version 10+.__If you can email me directly, I will send you a sample report (that uses the R&R SQL Sample Reports datasource) and the required runtime files so that you can check it out. V10+ runtime has a Restart report button on the toolbar so that you can re-execute a report using different parameteRR values in the same runtime session.____Kathleen__R&R Support__kfleming@livewarepub.com
