exports

Post by ShilpeB_(Guest) » Thu Jun 19, 2003 4:49 am

During an export from another program, I noticed that a field which is numeric in our dataset, R&R picked it up as a Character field, Therefore i am unable to do any calculations.____Also the length of some of our fields in our dataset, is shortened by R&R, for example we have a field in our dataset which is 11 characters long, R&R picks it up as 10 characters.____Please help.

What happens if you open the file in Excel? Maybe the source of the problem is within the structure of the exported file.____Kathleen__R&R Support
