Incomplete totals on R&R Chart

Post by Mike_Cutts » Wed Jul 09, 2003 5:23 am

I am using R&R Report Writer v8.1 and when I create a chart, the largest total in the chart, regardless of the row it is on, is only part-displayed. For Example, if i have a chart listing the total number of employees by area, and the largest total for an area is 1000, the number given is 1 with half of the next number showing. I have also tried this in R&R 10 with the same results.____Hope you can help. Thanks,____Mike.

that is a known problem with RR charts - the highest value is often not shown - or partially shown - it^s been there since charting was added to RR - it^s the chart package - not RR...____the fix is to go into the PROPERTIES screen of the chart object - __go to the OPTIONS tab - go to DATA VALUES - and turn off AUTOMATIC and enter some MAX value higher than the actual MAX - that will allow the actual value to show on the graph - adjust the MAX value until the label shows what you need.____nick__
