Not Saving copies of reports

When I try and open a report while it is already in use, it asks me whether I would like to create a copy. If I say yes, it opens a file called Copy Of <report name>.RSW. If I then make a modification to the copied report and try and save it, although it appears to save, the Copy Of <report name>.rsw file is not present. I have searched the contents of my pc for the name of the report, to no avail.____As you can imagine, this was a little frustrating when I had made significant modifications to the report, to then find out that those mods were lost.____If you could suggest a workaround, other than modifying the original report, it would be much appreciated.____Thanks,____Mike.

If you wish to amend a copy of a report to keep it seperate from the origainal you could select File, Save As and then give the report a new name. This way the old and the new report will both be present.____I hope this is kind of what you^re after. If it isn^t, I apologise for wasting your time.____Regards.____Eddie

Thanks for your suggestion. However, by simply clicking on the Save button it appears to save a file called "Copy Of <report name>.RSW", and i believe it does in fact create the file. When you exit Report Writer, this file is removed for some reason.____Thanks again for your suggestion,____Mike.
