rrwrun in compiled report

Post by jwwaterman » Wed Jun 27, 2001 10:47 am

I am able to run my reports from my application in db2k, but am unable to do so from my compiled application. Even tried adding a menu item which sent the command "run rrwrun" and get a flash of a dos window which says "bad command or file name". Also, when making a call to R&R is there a way to avoid having the dos window flash by?__Thanks,__John

You could probably avoid the bad command or filename error by supplying a complete path to RRWRUN.EXE.____I am not a application programmer so cannot give advise on controlling the launch environment.____Kathleen__R&R Support

Check your DB2K RUN statement to be sure you are indicating you are running a Windows not a DOS program (RRWRUN is a windows EXE).
