Cannot read Exam database

I am using version 8.0 xbase on a windows XP workstation. When atempting to extract information from a database called Exam (2.1 G in size)I get the error "Cannot read Exam database". As far as I can tell I have exhausted the options in the help file. I have full administrative rights, lots of available disk space, and 1G of ram on the machine. Help Please.____Thanks.

I am assuming that the DBF was created by an application such as Advantage that can create large tables rather than through Foxpro.__The problem is indeed the size of the file I think.____Kathleen__R&R Support

Yes, The DBF was created by Eyecare Advantage from Compulink Business Systems. I have no way to reduce the size of the file if that is indeed the problem. What options might I have.____TX__Rob
