Can^t print to PDF driver

I can^t get the runtime or the report designer to print properly to a PDF file. With the runtime, the report appears to generate properly but no file is ever created and no error message is displayed. The RRUNOUT.DBF file shows a code of ^N^ and no error message. It shows 1 report printed, 0 pages.____I have managed to create a file with the report designer, but the PDF file is empty (0 byte). However, when I look at print preview there is a full page of information. ____There is no PDFFILES directory on my CD and no install for the PDF driver, but I am also getting no error indicating the driver is not present. It is listed in the printer menu when I select Print in Report Designer.

Here^s a more complete description of the problem I^m having creating a PDF file:____I^m using R&R 10 (not +) on Windows XP SP1. I have report libraries that were originally created in R&R v5 (.rp1 extension). I^m trying to create a PDF file using the runtime from one of the reports in the library. I have RI_PRINTER blank, RI_WPTR = R&R PDF EXPORT, and RI_OUTFILE set to a path and filename.____If I print from within R&R, using R&R PDF EXPORT as the printer, I get no output as the result. But if I look at the print preview first, there^s a full-page report. Using Acrobat PDFWriter as the printer, I get a 0-byte file, although the report appears to be created. Using Acrobat Distiller as the printer, I get a 28K file that Acrobat reader says it cannot open because it may be corrupted.____When I try using the runtime (with R&R PDF EXPORT) to create the PDF, the report appears to run but no file is created. When I use the runtime with Acrobat PDFWriter, I get a 0-byte file.____These results are consistent whether I use the .RP1 library, an .RP5 library I converted it to, or an individual report file extracted using the converter in v10.____Does anyone have any suggestions I can try?____>I can^t get the runtime or the report designer to print __>properly to a PDF file.
