Should I blame XP?

Post by jdujan » Sun Nov 09, 2003 5:25 pm

[updated:LAST EDITED ON Nov-09-03 AT 05:32 PM (EST)]My old but good R&R release 6.5 stopped to work when I upgraded to Windows XP in my computer. I can design reports fine with RRW, but when I call the runtime from Visual Fox Pro (^RUN /N RRWRUN RRUNIN.DBF 1^) I just get the error "Cannot open control file DBF".__I^m very scared thinking if any of my customers upgrades to XP... :(__ Jorge R. Version 6.5 is a 16 bit release so you really should upgrade to the latest release at some point.____But a cannot open error generally means that the file cannot be found or that the current user does not have the appropriate file permissions. So you should check the later and also try supplying a full path to the control on your command line.____Kathleen__R&R Support

Would you tell me the cost of a new 32 bits release, please?____>But a cannot open error generally means that the file cannot be found or that the current user does not have the appropriate file permissions. ____I^m using exactly the same parameters, methods, enviroment, etc, that worked fine under Windows 98. So i blame XP :)____>and also try supplying a full path to the control on your command line. ____I did just that. It didn^t work.____Thanks, Ms Kathleen.____{J}
