Error when closing RRWRUN.EXE

Post by DaSe » Fri Nov 14, 2003 8:30 am

We are using the runtime of R&R v10 (10.0.012) in combination with 6 of our applications.__On (most) Windows 2000-workstations we get the following error when the runtime is closing/closed: __"RRWRUN.EXE has generated errors and will be closed by Windows. You will need to restart the program."__Everything works fine on previous Windows-versions.____When I rename the file CDINTF.DLL we don^t get the error, but it isn^t possible anymore to export the reports to PDF-files. This is not a good solution because we need the PDF-functionality.__Renaming the file CDINTF.DLL is a solution I found on this forum.____How can I solve this problem ? We need the possibility to export the reports to PDF-files on Windows 2000-workstations.__

What you need to do is to use the Install program from the R&R PDFFiles subdirectory of the CD and then permanently install the printer driver to a non-R&R directory where CDINTF.DLL and all other required files will reside. You can then remove CDINTF.DLL from the R&R directory and still have the PDF printer driver available.____Kathleen__R&R Support

I can not find such a directory on my CD. I only have the directories DISK1 and PDFDOCS (containing 9 PDF-files).____I searched also for the program named Install, but I couldn^t find the program.__
