MS SQL nvarchar

Post by jackhellmuth » Mon Nov 17, 2003 11:42 am

Is there a problem with using the nvarchar data type? I have several in my SQL database and they do not display although it seems that they are sorting correctly. I have tried using both the Data Direct and the MS SQL drivers. I am using ver 10.1.003. on an XP machine.

The Data Direct non-Wire SQL Server driver should display these data types correctly.____Kathleen__R&R Support

Ok, I changed drivers. Now I get the following message, "DB access: [DataDirect][ODBC SQL Server driver][Microsoft SQL Server]Unicode data in a Unicode-only collation or ntext data cannot be sent to clients using DB-Library (such as ISQL] or ODBC version 3.7 or earlier." Is there a newer version of the Data Direct driver that I need?
