PDFs

I would like to know if someone has a final and definitive solution to the generation of pdf files among various operating systems.__We are now using RR 9.0.009.__Our customers have Windows98, XP, 2000, ME, and so on.__I would like to know if there is a unique solution so everyone can export the reports to pdf files.__I am fighting with dll^s. In some computers I have some dlls, in others another set of dlls ...__Some XP machines work fine (print and generate pdf files) and others don^t.____Please, is there a way of solving this?__I was thinking of doing an upgrade to version 10+, but as I saw in the discussion forum, there a lot of messages about this issue and version 10+.____Best regards,____

The best solution is to install the PDF printer driver outside of R&R using the INSTALL.EXE program. So you put the PDF install files in a directory that is not available to R&R and run the install from there just once per machine.__Then you need to make sure that the only copy of CDINTF.DLL is in that install directory and NOT a directory that is available to R&R.__That way R&R does not try to add/remove the driver and can instead use the already installed driver.____Kathleen__R&R Support
