RR10+ Close

Kathleen,____I did buy R&R Report Writer Version 10+ and install it in my XP Pro machine as a workstation install.____I also went to your website and installed the updates for the R&R 10+.____When ever I open the Report Designer and close it I get this error message which is:____"R&R Report Designer, XBase Edition has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience."____Then when I click on "what data this error report contains" link I get the following:____Error Signature__AppName: rrw.exe__AppVer: 10.1.3.0__ModName: rrw.exe__ModVer: 10.1.3.0__Offset: 000ae90d____This has been a pain in the neck for me always.____Could you please let me know how I could get his error resolved. I like to get my software working without any hitch. ____Your immediate response is much appreciated.____Thanks and Regards__Radha____

Try deleting the file CDINTF.DLL that is in the R&R program directory or for a workstation install, in the windowssystem or system32 directory.____Kathleen__R&R Support

Kathleen,____It did work. The file was in C:program FilesRRVER10.____The question here is, does it do any harm in deleting this file (resolves the error message popping up)?____If this file is not needed why is it included in the install.____Thanks__Regards__Radha
