Searching for .dll

Post by FRED_EMMERICH_(Guest) » Mon Jul 16, 2001 9:24 am

On a followup to a previous post, I did some hunting around my system. From what Kathleen said rrrpt32.dll contains the user functions for R&R (XBASE), but I am looking for the .dll for the SQL version. I had a left over rspt32.dll from Arpeggio and I think this is what I need????____I can^t find rspt32.dll for R&R 8.1 SQL on my system at all. I have rsrpt32.lib but no .dll. I can^t link to the .lib since it was created with a MS linker. Anybody know where I can get rsrpt32.dll??____Thanks

Kathleen, no rsrpt32.dll on my system except and old one from previous version of Arpeggio (not in windowssystem). Also not on the CD, but that is all compressed files. Do you know the file date I should look for for the 8.1 SQL version? I can run R&R fine, is this .dll only used for user applications, or does interactive R&R use it too? I can^t understand why I don^t have it. Do you know where I can get one?____Thanks,

You would only need this file if you are directly calling runtime DLL functions.____I will need to check the date for the V8.1. I have a V9 version on my machine.____Kathleen__R&R Support

Would the way I installed R&R affect whether or not this file was written to my hard drive? If so I guess I could re-install with some other options to get this file out there?____Also, earlier today, I did a reply to your message, where I quoted your text. This message of mine never showed up. When I do a regular reply, it works fine.____Thanks,____

I don^t know why my SYSTEM directory does not have that file, I have never messed with it. I was afraid to do another install so I took it home and did it there and I found the .dll in SYSTEM. I sent it back to my computer at work and undid R&R from home. It looks to have a 4/2000 date, much later than the old one from Arpeggio. Oh well.____Thanks,
