Scheduler in Version 10+
I just received the upgrade to version 10+, and perhaps I installed it incorrectly, but I do not see the Scheduler anywhere. I depend on the Scheduler to run all of my reports over night - did the name change to something else, or did I just install incorrectly?__Also, I want to schedule ebursts - how would I go about doing this? I assume, based on the old scheduler, that I just set the scheduler to export while I already have the e-mail settings saved in the report, but I notice that the ^Send via MAPI^ button does not automatically check itself, so I^m thinking if I just export with the scheduler, it will export the entire file rather than bursting it? Is this what will happen? If so, anyway to work around that?____Thanks!

The scheduler has been absent from the past few releases. You can however use the Windows Task Scheduler to run reports.____Here is the information from the README file on unattended email bursting.__At the request of many users, Version 10 allows reports containing saved Mail Option settings to be automatically run and sent to email recipients without needing to open the Report Designer and manually select Send via MAPI checkbox. This functionality is implemented using runtime executable but requires an installed copy of the Report Designer to be present. The command line to output a report to MAPI is:__For Xbase__RRWRUN.EXE /M<reportname>__For SQL__RSWRUN.EXE /M<reportname>____So you can indeed use the windows task scheduler to export report output via MAPI.____Kathleen__R&R Support

Excellent - thanks.____One more quick question - if I^m exporting HTML files and sending them as e-mails, is there anyway to include the HTML in the body of the e-mail rather than as an attachement?____

If your email client default is to create messages as HTML then the R&R file should be within the message rather than as an attachment.____Kathleen__R&R Support
