There is not a way to restrict those settings unless you want to write your own Rapid Runner EXE. Rapid Runner uses calls to the runtime DLL to extract report information so you really could write your own.____Kathleen__R&R Support

Kathleen,____Thanks a lot for the info on the RRW.ini and the Rapid Runner.____I am a novice in this area as you would have come to know by now.____Do you by any chance have a skeleton code which almost gives the similar screen of Rapid runner. If you have I would more than arreciate if you could send it to me by e-mail. radhak@pacific.net.sg As a matter of fact, I really like the rapid Runner, as it makes lot of things easier for the user.____But at the same time, I have users who are a bit adventurous and I do not want them to screw up the files, queries etc.____Is there any way, we could blank out the selections so that I could only have the ones I need.____Your immediate response or any one in the forum is much appreciated.____

You would need to be skillful in calling DLL functions from an application program in order to write your own Rapid Runner. All of the DLL functions are documented and you could use a VB program as your application environment. ____Kathleen__R&R Support
