Print sequence fails

I have a client that uses a Ricoh printer using a 1045 print driver as the default printer on a network. He is also using Windows 2000. When he trys to print, the print sequence crashes and does not display the printer dialog box for selecting the printer to print to. If he changes to an HP5000 printer as the default printer, the print sequence works, he can then select the Ricoh printer from the selection dialog and everything prints OK. He is using the 10 software. I have other clients running Windows 2000 with similar printing problems. Is their a fix for this behavior?____Thanks____Dan

If the 1045 driver is a local rather than a network printer does the same problem occur? I am wondering if it is the driver or the connection that is causing R&R to fail.____Kathleen__R&R Support

I had the customer install the driver on LPT1 and he got the same error. Anything else that can be done? I have had several customers running Windows 2000 with similar problems.____Dan__
