R&R 9.0 SQL and Advantage

Post by Phil_(Guest) » Fri Jul 27, 2001 11:02 am

Help! I am having problems connecting to an Advantage Database running on Novell through an ODBC connection using R&R 9.0 SQL edition. If anyone can help I would _greatly_ appreciate it! I can connect through ODBC to the tables using an Interactive SQL tool. However, when I try to open a table using R&R 9.0 SQL, I get a cryptic error "DB Access: [Extended Systems][Advantage ODBC Driver]Not supported".____If anyone has any experience or advice, please let me know! ____ptsui@usa.net

I can successfully connect to the Advantage ODBC Data Source using other applications (Advantage isql, Delphi). Also, I can use R&R SQL 9.0 to successfully connect to another ODBC Data Source besides Advantage (Sybase SQL Anywhere).__
