Reports on a website

Post by Mike_Grice_(Guest) » Sat Aug 20, 2005 9:07 am

Does anyone know how to call a report on-the-fly on a website?____We run our own NT webserver which has the R&R Runtime and a PDF maker software installed on it. When a visitor to the website has finished their order entry, we want to be able to produce a PDF version of their order so they may print it. We do this in nightly batch mode now, so they can see the PDF order the next day. But we would like to make it "instantaneous". I imagine this means calling it via a CGI script, or something, but I know nothing about CGI. ____Any ideas?____Thanks.__

You shoudld have a look at our RattleRR product which uses ASP to talk to R&R on the web server and delivers reports to a web browser.____http://www.livewarepub.com/rattleRR_info.htm____Kathleen__R&R Support
