Printing hidden (invisible) fields

Post by Mel_Smith_(Guest) » Fri Sep 02, 2005 6:08 pm

Kathleen,____ Does my RRW (9.0) have a simple way to allow a numeric value (e.g., an employee^s salary or hourly rate) to occupy a place on a report and be part of all calculations but be *hidden* from view by means of some calculated field ??____ My client wants to print a detailed report of Job costs (including payroll expenses, *but* he wishes to only show the actual rates and salaries *if* he or one of the otyher senior people start up my report with a password.____ So, is there some font that can be made conditionally invisible (or hidden) ???____TIA,____-Mel Smith__

You could add a parameterr field and use it as the condition for printing the detail so that the detail would print only when the parameteRR was equal to the expected value.____Kathleen__R&R Support
