Line Draw

Post by Andrew_Bokelman » Tue Sep 04, 2001 1:16 pm

I^m running the xbase demo, trying to see how it deals with my reports created in the dos version 6. A problem I^m having is with lines. What was a solid line in the dos version, is now a dashed line in the version 9 for windows. I tried replacing the lines using the R&R line draw tool, but it places the line at the bottom of the band (like an underline), and I can^t get it to the middle of the band. I also tried using alt-196(-)and alt-193(-) to enter line draw characters, but it produces something that looks like fat smudged dashes.____Is there a way to draw a solid line in a band that appears above the baseline at the same position that line draw characters appear.

Thanks. After looking at the file you sent me I was able to solve the problem. ____BTW, I forgot to mention that in the demo help feature, when I go to Contents and click on Drawing and Positioning a Line, I get an error message that says the topic does not exist.
